Carie and Lenny-
Thank you for sharing your mom with me those two years before I moved away and became an adult. Carie, you and your mom made me food and gave me a place to feel loved. I missed her when I left and I never forgot how special she was to me.
My favorite memories of Carol will always be around that little table, eating, playing cards, and laughing at whatever nonsense you and I were cooking up.
Thanks for making sure I had a chance to tell her how much I loved her before she got too sick. I will never forget her laugh and how she said “I love you”.
