Our sympathy to your whole family. Peg and Jim were some of the wonderful crew who welcomed my folks into their community of friends when they moved to Pine Ridge Farm in 1978. May good memories sustain you in the days ahead.

My sincere condolences to the Anderson Family. We just drove by the house on Hwy 6 a couple weeks ago and I thought to myself how much Peg was always inviting, bubbly and friendly. She was a beautiful soul for sure. A treasure.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Pegs family. Peg and us go back over a long time, having babies at the same hospital which started a life of friendship. We shared a lot of fun times together, coffee and going to dances and going out to eat. We had great visits at the farm, we shared a lot of times together. Richard and I will truly miss her and her phone calls. She was full of laughter and loved her friends and all her children. She was truly one of a kind. She prayed for a lot of people and just asked me the other day to pray for a close friend and their family. Peg loved her kitties and I was so happy they would to the best home.

Peg was so full of life, love and humor. She always was put together with matching shoes, her outfit, her purse and her jewelry. I have fond memories of her at church. What a phenomenal voice she shared with all of us praising Our Lord! You will be missed dearly and I will hold your memories in my heart. I can see you dancing with Jim in Heaven and laughing, always laughing and loving. Until we meet again... Katie Linnell Herring

So sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Over the years Peg played bridge with Mom and Mom always looked forward to Peg's home-made Birthday cards. Their Birthday's were just a few days apart in October. I'm glad that Peg and Mom had a chance to see each other when Peg was at Simpson for some therapy last year. It brought a smile to Mom's face and got to reminisce some about the past. Bob Owen, son of Justine Owen.

I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. I was fortunate to work with Peg at Younkers when I was in college and enjoyed taking mom for visits with her. I will never forget what she told me when I called to tell her mom had passed away. “Julie, your mother was too fine for a nursing home”. She was always full of fun and a good laugh.
Blessings to your family.

So.sorry to have heard Peg's death.
I was remembering the time my dad
was dressed up as a Turkey and
he dropped marigolds off at your folks
house. Your mom put ad in the West Liberty
index saying who was that Turkey that
dropped off the marigolds.
I will miss you Peg. Prayers to your family.

I met Peg when we were working at Younkers. She sold dresses and I altered them. We always took our coffee breaks together and soon was calling each other "our ol' coffee mate." We worked Monday nights, so would go to Bo James to eat supper. We always had a "happy hour" drink. One day while waiting for our order, a cockroach ran across the table. We squashed it with a coaster, ate our supper and laughed all the way back to work. I have a lot of memories of Peg. We both were cat lovers. Rest in peace my dear friend and ol" coffee mate. condolences to all the family.
