West Branch, Iowa Tammy Sue Kroemer, 45, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 7, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. The use of a mask is requested and social distancing will be practiced. Tammy was born January 19, 1975 in Honolulu, Hawaii the daughter of Kenneth and Sandra (Harms) Hatfield. She was a graduate of West Branch High School in 1993 and later from Kirkwood Community College in the Respiratory Therapy Program. She was employed with Mercy Hospital in Iowa City as a respiratory therapist for several years and currently worked as a para professional at the Iowa City Community School District. She was a devoted mother to her children, spending time with family and friends were always very important. She enjoyed watching her children in their activities, seeing friends and her dog Mac. She was always one to be looking out for others, seeing the best in everyone and doing what she could for them. Tammy is survived by her three children: Allyson Kroemer of Iowa City, Meghan Kroemer of West Branch and Josh Kroemer of Iowa City; Brother Brian Hatfield of Springfield, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Scott.
