Tammy was a hard and dedicated worker when needed she would step in and help without no problem. She had a special touch with our Hoover children. She spoke wonderfully about her kids with pride especially her son. Tammy I hope you are at peace and I will cherish the memories we shared and the text messages from May. My condolences to all of Tammy's family prayers.

So sorry for your loss! We will miss Tammy this year at Hoover Elementary (Iowa City). Tammy was an energetic and caring paraeducator. She laughed easily and spoke highly of her son during our conversations at lunch. I will be praying for family members as you grieve and share good memories.

To Tammy's family and children, I worked closely with Tammy last year at Hoover. She was always bright and cheery and loved her students so much. She was wonderful with them which led to their success in the classroom. Her patience and kindness was deeply admired. I didn't get a chance to tell her but before my daughter was born, she guessed my daughter's name (which was a secret). It sent chills down my spine! I am sending you love and strength during this difficult time.

Tammy is a warm, caring friend who is quick to jump in and help anyone who needs her. We worked together at Hoover Elementary and we were getting ready for the next school year together.
