Vera Cawiezell, 94, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty.
Private services will be held in the Parr Cemetery, rural Pleasant Prairie, Iowa. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements.
Vera was born August 19, 1923 in the Pleasant Prairie area the daughter of Edward and Anne Maude Wathan Cawiezell. The family moved to their present farm south west of West Liberty in 1929. Vera was country school teacher and also in the Durant School System before taking over the family farm.
There are no immediate survivors. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Walter.
