Miss Cawiezell was a really great English teacher for us when we were in Junior High. She also did a superb job as an art instructor. She worked really hard and she really cared about us. Maybe all students feel this way..........but I honestly think she liked our class of 1969 just a "little bit better" than any other class she ever had! Matt

Miss Cawiezell was my Jr. High English teacher in Durant. She was one of my all-time favorites. A compassionate teacher who taught well. Not only did she teach English, but also cursive writing, art, and journalism (our 8th grade yearbooks). May she Rest in Peace.

Ms Cawiezell was one of my teachers in Junior High. I learned so much from her which I still retain yet. In recent years I saw her a few times and enjoyed our visits. She will be remembered by many as a woman who was dedicated to the learning process. L
