I was unaware of your moms passing. She was one of the nicest people I knew when I joined the Coralville UMC back in 2009, and made me feel very welcome there. I am sorry for your loss and sympathize as I recently (2 years) lost my mother as well. I still think of my mom and wish I could talk to her as she was with all her faculties, but I talk to her in prayer and my dad, too. Again, I sympathize and empathize with you.

Dear Neighbors:
Let me extend my sympathy to all of you. I recall how sweet your Mother was. She was a good friend and neighbor to all in our area of West Liberty. My Mom especially enjoyed Bettys company.
Wishing you peace during this time.
Sincerely, Pam Erwin

Our hearts and prayers are with you all here at Coralville UMC. Betty (and Stan of course) gave so much to this church community and were very loved. They were always willing to serve and were "go-to" people in the church. Betty is remembered for her smile (she would put a smiley face by her name when she signed the worship attendance sheet each week!) and for being accepting of others. She often served communion and as an usher and greeter. She came to church so faithfully, even after moving to West Liberty and after Stans death. Some of Bettys friends have passed already, but some are still here and will remember her fondly. We will pray for Betty and for all the family in worship on Sunday, knowing that her spirit lives on and she is in the care of God whom she loved and served so well.

My thoughts and prayers to all of Bettys family. I met Betty in FOur Searsons Garden club and she was a wonderful friend who supported me and would listen when things bothered me. I have a regret that lately I hadnt kept in touch but hopefully she knew she was always in my thoughts and how much of a friend she was to me and the support she gave to me. She will be missed by every one who knew her. Loving thoughts to a great friend
