Please accept my sincere condolences in the death of your mother. She was my 4th grade teacher at Jefferson School and I loved her dearly.
She was a wonderful teacher and did so much for her students. When I was in college, I did a "practical experience" at Jefferson School and was so happy to be with Mrs. Nichols again!
Please accept my sincerest
thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Tim, Carolyn & Families our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you. Between family, church and education it is truly amazing the number of lives that Martha Jean touched.
Martha Jeans “butter horn dinner rolls” were always a center of attention at family dinners. Her sister made some great creamed yellow beans. As a child nothing could have be better than soaking up the cream off the beans with Aunt Martha Jeans “butter horn dinner rolls”
I will always remember the family dinners where Grandma Ted (Geraldine) and Martha Jean’s continued strong family relationship as sisters brought us all together.
God Bless.

Yesterday afternoon I spent some time in the bedroom Aunt Martha Jean shared with my mom during their childhood. I reflected on my Martha Jean memories from my childhood forward. She was a close adult friend and inspired me to be devoted to school and music. She played the piano for Church services at Cranston EUB for many years before her marriage. We will be with you this week and beyond.
We treasure the memory of the lovely wedding cake she baked and decorated for us.

We have lost a real worker. She was always willing to go the extra mile to get things done. I know the last few years have been hard for her when she was unable to be active any longer. She will be remembered and missed.

Thinking of all of you, in this time of loss. Martha Jean was wonderful Great Aunt and will be missed. I thought of her as I took down my Christmas tree this year. Each year of my childhood she made an ornament for me to put on my tree. I saved each one and think of her as I look at each one on my tree. They are a special memory. Sara

Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother.
She has truly been a mentor for so many. West Liberty was fortunate to have had her presences in our lives for so many years. May she be at peace.
