We lived 3 houses down from Orph for several years and she was such a fun neighbor to have. She delighted in watching our kids (especially our boys) play and ride their bikes outside, and even brought over a toy barn and animals that had belonged to her boys shortly after we moved in.
I was always tickled to see her dedication to pick up sticks at the park across the street as well as in her own yard nearly every day during the warmer months. She kept tabs on everyone in the neighborhood and loved chatting to me about who used to live in which houses on our street. She also liked to update me on her family happenings, especially her grandsons and their sports accomplishments.
I will always remember Orph as a beloved 4th Street neighbor.
