I just saw that my great cousin Dick passed away and I am immensely saddened. Dick wrote to me over the years and told me about my family in the USA, with whom I unfortunately have no contact. I thank him for his always kind nature and miss him. May we meet again soon, God be with you. Lorenz

Knowing Dick through our Ham Radio Club has been a pleasure. He participated in many events that we helped with and offered his time and energy freely in many ways to keep our club functioning. Additionally, my wife and I ran into him at a dance a number of years ago, and we were able to connect on that level also. Saw him at many more dances, and he was always so excited to talk about all the area dance halls and all the trips he would take to visit them. I know he had many friends and they will miss him.

A beautiful reflection of a life well lived. He was a man who kept promises and loved deeply. When asked by a young grieving nephew who knew loss and the importance of family connections, Dick made a promise to stay connected. He kept his promise throughout the lifetime of that boy. I will be forever grateful for the love shown to my husband Dean and our family. Dick was an honorable man who made a difference in the lives of many. He left the world a better place.
