Obituary of Jeshia Saldana Torres

Jeshia Saldana Torres, 26, passed away Saturday August 28, 2021.

Funeral service will be held 10 A.M. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Iglesia Torre Fuerte in Muscatine. Graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is caring for Jeshia’s family.

Jeshia was born October 28, 1994 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico the daughter of Jessenia Torres and Rafael Saldana.  On July 12, 2019 she was united in marriage to Xavier Alicea Valle in Muscatine. Jeshia was employed at Procter and Gamble in Iowa  City. She was an excellent daughter, mother and wife.  She was affectionate, kind and charismatic, she enjoyed helping others, everyone who knew her carried her mark.  FOREVER  IT WILL LIVE IN OUR HEARTS.

She is survived by her husband Xavier, son Damian, mother Jessenia (Hachmaan) Valle, father: Rafael, three brothers: Balian Vachier, Hachmaan Valle and Stanley Saldana. Maternal grandparents: Alba Garcia, Victor Torres Evquilin, paternal grandparent: Carmen Benabe, father in law: Alberto Alicea and Migdalia Valle Izquierdo.
