Lone Tree, Iowa Jennifer Jean Pechman, 63, of Lone Tree died Wednesday September 16, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family following a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday September 19, 2009 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. Jennifer was born December 13, 1945 in Moline, Illinois. She was a graduate of Erie, Illinois High School in 1963. On July 19, 1972, she was united in marriage to Mike Pechman. She had been employed with Sheller Globe in Iowa City for many years. She enjoyed playing BINGO, and she bowled with the IWBC and she was president for 4 years. In her early years she was a Boy Scout Leader. Recently she was a volunteer with the University of Iowa Hospital making sock monkeys. She is survived by her husband Mike Pechman. Three Children: Kenda Swailes of Lone Tree, Brad Schaver of Tiffin and Greg (Amy) Pechman of Riverside. Three Stepchildren: Jennifer Paschel of Lone Tree, Julie (Chris) Johnson of Dubuque, Iowa and Mark (Jolene) Pechman of South Carolina. Four Sisters: Cheryl (Terry) Carrier of Cicero, Illinois, Merilee Dufault of Scottsdale, Arizona and CeCe Wilcoxson of Lone Tree, Dotty (Charles) Stewart of Williamsburg. 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lou Schilling.
