I met Lee through my brother, Joseph. Although my interactions with him were few, he left a lasting impression with me of what it means to be happy, to love life, to enjoy each precious moment. Lee had such a vibrant personality and will be fondly remembered. My deepest condolences to your family.

Although I hadn’t seen Lee in some time, I enjoyed following his exploits via social media, along with some lighthearted exchanges. I’m still in shock over losing him, and extend my sincere and heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends. As much as I will feel this loss, I know it must be keener for those close to him. God Speed, Lee.

Lee was beyond talented in so many aspects. He was my fav IT person and I was always impressed by his knowledge of how to fix the issue, there was no pc issue that challenged him. He was beyond excited to visit Carniegy Hall. My heart goes out to all his loved ones. RiP to a beautiful soul.

Every memory I have of Lee makes me at least smile, if not laugh out loud. He has, so profoundly, touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed by all. Until we meet again, my friend, rest in the arms of the Lord. Godspeed, Paul Anderson

Lee and I crossed paths many times - at UI and at various vocal events in the region. He had a million dollar smile and was such a wonderful, generous person. My sincerest condolences. Thea Engelson

I’ll be forever grateful for the many times I got to hang out as well as make music with Lee. He was a blessing and gone way too soon. We all know his kindness was infinite. His soul will remain with many of us forever and I’ll always remember the good times we’ve had. My deepest condolences to his family. -Ryan Hoagland

Lee was at my place Wednesday evening sharing again his excitement to be performing this summer at Carniegy Hall in NYC.. he shared tapes of his playing for lady In red dress singing ..her grandad said to Lee you have happy feet when playing..I listened to a couple he shared soloists he played for..A PURE PERSON BUILDER he demonstrated to me so many times.. always a million dollar smile and twinkle in his eye of gratitude and happiness..Known Lee for many years. played music at our 5oth anniversary and my cousin from Charles City retired teacher came up to him and had a great visit about people they knew..a miracle of playing for you and monty he said...LEE never met a stranger. A world full of Lee's would be a marvelous place..always kind..nice..AND honest.. a rariety In today's world..My prayers of genuine sincerity and loving prayers to his family and all who knew this great man and enjoyed his talents beyond his talents galore...God will use Lee's talents for angels to have the HALLELUJAH chorus like we have never heard before. .Lee touched my life and made my a better person.. I am totally Blessed to have known and having Lee in my life May God's Blessings overflow to ALL with happiness, health, kindness , safety GRACIOUSNESS, WISDOM and strength all that Mr Lee lived by daily. Lee is now wrapped in the loving hands of our Lord IN HIS GRIP..Karen Lumsden
