Obituary of Beverly Jean Kessler

Beverly Jean Kessler, 74, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Solon Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. The funeral service will be live streamed via the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home Facebook page. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the Alzheimer’s Association. Online condolences may be made to the family at hendersonbarkerfunerahome.com.
Beverly was born February 2, 1946 in Iowa City the daughter of Floyd and Dorothy (Thompson) Anderson. She was a graduate of West Branch High School. She had been employed by P&G, operated an in home daycare, was a para professional at Regina, and Reach For Your Potential in Iowa City.
She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in West Branch, growing up her family showed horses and her horse Oracle was one of her fondest memories, she enjoyed spending time gardening and was well known for her green thumb. Bev had a heart of gold, willing to help out anyone especially a child.
She is survived by her daughter Traci (Bill) Phillips and grandson Hunter of Cincinnati, Ohio, son Jayme (Maria) Kessler and grandchildren Austin, Luke, Anaiaha of San Clemente, California, and son Cory (Angela) Kessler and grandchildren Coleman and Courtney of West Branch. She is also survived by long time companion: Lowell Stanfield and sister: Joyce (Bob) Rarick North Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents.
