Brad Wargo, 51, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 15, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

 

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, January 22, 2021, from 3 to 6 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch, use of masks is required and social distancing will be practiced. A celebration of life is tentatively planned for July 2021. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com.

 

Bradley John Wargo was born February 17, 1969 in Muscatine, Iowa the son of John and Susan (Espensen) Wargo. He was a graduate of the Tipton High School Class of 1987 and Culver – Stockton College in Canton, Missouri in 1991. On June 26, 1993 he was united in marriage to Barbara Zanger in Quincy, Illinois. Brad enjoyed spending his early years as an adult in Colorado where he worked as a plumber for Colorado Plumbing Services, Rifle, Colorado, and owned and operated Kodiak Mechanical before returning to Iowa where he began working with Lynch’s Plumbing in 2003.

 

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports but his true passion was spending time with his sons. During college Brad competed in football and baseball and was also a member of Alpha Tau Omega. He was competitive, enjoyed a challenge, and always willing to help if someone was in need.

 

He is survived by his wife Barb of West Branch, two sons: Hunter of Quantico, VA and Jonathan of Kings Point, NY, mother Susan (Jerry) Wargo of Tipton and a sister Melinda (Paul) Lacey of Spokane, WA as well as his two beloved Labs, Misty and Aspen. He was preceded in death by his father.
