West Branch, Iowa Robert J. Bennett, 59, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Services will also be held at a later date in Chamberlain, South Dakota. Bob was born August 4, 1954 at Ft. Lawton Army Base, Seattle, Washington, the son of James and Darlene Tol Bennett. He was united in marriage to Debbie Dominiack on October 30, 1976 in Chamberlain, South Dakota. Bob owned and operated Bennett’s Radio and TV for many years in West Branch. Bob was a member of the West Branch J.C.’s for many years as well as the Coleman Lantern Club. He was a big NASCAR fan. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, camping and riding his Harleys. He is survived by his his wife Debbie Bennett, of West Branch; his children: Heidi (Tony) Nogy, of Oacoma, South Dakota; Ryan Bennett, of West Branch and Nikki Bennett, of West Branch; parents: James and Darlene Bennett, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his sister Betty Bennett, of Costa Mesa, California; niece Sholly Gunter, of Woodway, Texas and his dog C.J.
