Margaret was my cousin and I have some great memories of her. It's been many years since I had seen her but I would think of the time she and her family came to visit . The last time I saw her was when my husband and I and our daughter went to visit many years ago. We had such a fun time then! I'll always remember those times with her. My heart goes out to all her family.

We are sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a very hard worker and dedicated many years to our school district. She finally has gained the peace she has well earned while here on earth. Our deepest sympathy to all of her family.

Boy, where do I start? I mean, my whole childhood was pretty much spent there at the Rocks.
From sleepovers, riding Tony the pony, playing hill dill, swimming in the creek by their place to walking said creek ( crick) every winter until one of us fell in.
I was in awe of how Mrs. Rock (always will be to me) could handle so many kids and her being just a tiny little thing until you heard her yell at you. Holy cow! She had a set of lungs! Put the fear of death in me. I never wanted to disobey and I wasn’t even one of her many kids!
She was one of the kindest woman you would ever meet. She welcomed everyone into her home and never made you feel like you were a burden. She cooked for so many so what was 1 more?
She always had a smile for everyone which always made you feel a little special. And the love she had for all of her kids! Undeniable.
God gained an Angel in Mrs. Rock, that is for sure. I can just see her up in Heaven organizing all of those kids with just a look, then a smile and giggle.
My condolences to all of the Rock family. She will be missed by many.
Sincerely,
Roxanne (Larsen) Veigelt
