Iowa City, Iowa Barbara Helen Erickson, 95, of Iowa City died on Monday, June 8, 2020. She was born on December 27, 1924 in Middletown, Iowa, the daughter of Jessie and Russell Stewart. She is survived by her daughters, Selene (Sally) Erickson of West Branch and Sue Erickson of Madison, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Erickson, and brothers Kenneth, Wendall, and John Stewart. Barbara’s daughters are sincerely grateful for the love and support of her family and friends over the years. Thanks to Legacy Pointe Assisted Living for their care. She received wonderful palliative care from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, helping her to pass away in dignity and peace. Barbara requested that no services be held.
