West Branch, Iowa Donna Jean Croy, 52, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be held 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be at West Branch Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. Donna was born November 5, 1961 in Tipton, Iowa. Her parents are Joe and Betty Haase. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids in 1980. She was united in marriage to Ronald Croy on December 15, 1990. They later divorced. She had been employed with McDonald's for five years. Donna enjoyed making crafts and she would frequently attend craft shows. She was well known for her dream catchers along with headdresses and other crafts. Her interest in Native Americans inspired much of her craft making. She also enjoyed hosting picnics and celebrating Halloween but above all she enjoyed being a grandmother. Donna is survived by her parents Joe and Betty Haase of Cedar Rapids, her daughter McKenzie Croy and granddaughter Abigail Jacobo of Atalissa and her son Dakota Croy of West Branch. She is also surivived by her brothers: Melvin Haase of Wyoming, Iowa and Rob Haase of Fayetteville, Arkansas and her sister Sandy Pohlman of Oxford, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Ray.
