Oxford, Iowa Natalie L. Jennings, 2, passed peacefully Saturday, December 22, 2019. Natalie Louise Jennings was born September 21st, 2017 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her life, though short, brought great joy and happiness to her family. She taught them the true meaning of an unconditional, gentle love and the value of savoring life’s blessings. Her bountiful snuggles, dimpled smile, and strawberry hair will be sorely missed. Beloved daughter of Martin & Hannah. Sweet sister to Vivienne and Elizabeth. Granddaughter to William & Tina Jennings (Iowa City, IA) Jeff & Annette Henderson (West Liberty, IA). Treasured niece of Cole & Aly, Andrew & Nan, Julie & Ryan, Maureen, and Joe. Adored by her cousins Evan, Emmett, William, Jackson, Nathaniel, and Lorelai. Great granddaughter of James & Nancy Larson (Grove, OK) Marilyn Henderson & Harold Kline (West Liberty, IA). We are so grateful to the unexpected people that were an intricate part of her life. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, therapists, our church, and many others who supported us to comfort and care for Natalie. It is because of her, we were blessed with many new friendships along the way. Visitation will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Iowa City, IA at 5 to 8 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2019. A funeral mass will be held the following day, Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 9 A.M. at the church with the burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Iowa City, IA. We have been so thankful for all of the prayers during this journey. They were certainly answered as Natalie passed so peacefully in our arms with all of us together. That is all we ever wanted. Sometimes the littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts.
