Ora Leroy Sexton, 88, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at his home.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday March 30, 2019 from 2 to 5 at the West Liberty Community Center. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. 

Ora Leroy Sexton was born January 24, 1931 in Iowa City the son of Ora and Nannie (Hager) Sexton. He attended High school in West Branch, Iowa where he graduated in 1951. Leroy joined the military and served in the Korean Conflict. He lived on the family farm outside of Iowa City. Leroy hauled Grain for many local farmers for most of his life. He was an amazing husband and devoted father. Leroy was united in marriage to Sylvia (Dick) Ulm on March 12, 1977. They lived in west liberty for the last 42 years and together they had 12 children.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia of West Liberty, children: Rebecca Crowell of Fort Madison, Howard (Barb) Wiseman of LaFayette, Indiana, Diana (Alan) Corning  of Lake Village, Indiana, Rene (Mark) West of Lake Village, Indiana,  Kevin Sexton of Iowa City, Kelley Albrecht of California, Karen (Manuel) Cabrera of Iowa City,  Taffy Holmes of Florida, Tammi Sexton of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Sister Fae Currado of Lancaster, California. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by parents Ora and Nannie Sexton, three children Gregory Sexton, Cindy Holmes and Raymond Wiseman.
