Obituary of Emilio R. Partida

            Emilio R. Partida, 79 of West Liberty, IA passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

            He was born on February 21, 1939 in Del Rio, TX to Fransisco and Jovita (Ramirez) Partida. 

            Emilio married Eustolia Zulaica on June 24, 1962 in Del Rio, TX.  

            He worked as a supervisor at GPC in Muscatine for many years.  Emilio was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's activities.

             Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in West Liberty from 3-6 PM, followed by a rosary service at 6 PM.  

            Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.    

            Burial will take place at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty. 

            Emilio is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Eustolia of West Liberty, his sons: Juan Partida of Iowa City and Ramon (Jennifer) Partida of West Liberty, his grandchildren: Priscilla, Bernardo, Jazmyn and Alexis Partida, his brothers Fransisco (Alicia) Partida of Del Rio, TX, Ricardo (Pat) Partida of Fairborn, OH and Tony (Oralia) Partida of Del Rio, TX and his sister Cecilia (Armando) Dominguez of Del Rio, TX. 

            He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Armando and his infant son Lee.
