Obituary of Robert Charles Pearson

Robert Pearson,80, passed Monday October 15, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 11A.M. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. until service time at 11 at the funeral home.  A memorial fund has been established. Robert was born  in Iowa City  the son of Melvin and Lorene (Morris) Pearson. He was a graduate of West Branch High School in 1957. He served in the US Army Reserves.  On August 28, 1965 Robert was united in marriage to Sherry Finley in Nichols.

 Bob had been employed at Moore Business Forms in Iowa City in 2000 after 35 years. He enjoyed woodworking, remodeling his home, traveling and cutting wood.

Survivors include his wife Sherry of West Branch, son Scott of West Branch. Sisters: Janet (Charles) Wolf of Iowa City, Margaret Colony of North Liberty and Mary Roth of Iowa City. Sisters in law: Karol Morris of Muscatine, Norma Finley of Iowa City and Sandy Finley of Davenport. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.
