West Liberty, Iowa William A. McMahon, 61, died Monday March 10, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty with visitation 1 hour prior to the celebration of life. A memorial fund has been established. William Arthur McMahon was born July 24, 1952 the son of Arthur P. and Florence Mae Terrill McMahon. He was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the class of 1970. On March 4, 1972 he was united in marriage to Susan Olsen at the Christian Church in West Liberty. Bill had been employed with Wiele Chevrolet in West Liberty for many years. He was a song writer, musician, artist and philosopher. Survivors include his wife Susan of West Liberty, son Chris McMahon and his wife Angela Polowy of West Liberty, granddaughter Rhianna McMahon. One sister Patsy (Raymond) Miller of Muscatine, two brothers Tim (Heidi) McMahon of West Liberty and Tom (Jeanette) McMahon of West Liberty. He was preceded in death by his parents.
