Linda Kay Hazen, 70, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

Linda was born August 23, 1947 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Harvey and Lucille (Bachelor) Strause. On November 9, 1973 she married the love of her life Michael Wayne Hazen. The two of them spent many wonderful years together.

Linda thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, including sitting out on her back deck watching the wildlife. She had a passion for watching sports, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family. Throughout the years, Linda managed the Catfish Place in Nichols, made ceramics, babysat her grandchildren, and made donuts at Casey's. She had a huge heart and loved to laugh.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Michael; children: Ronald Han and wife Marisa of South Bend, Indiana; William Han and finance Christina Bornsen of Nichols; Shawna Carrier and her partner Joe Loyd of Columbus  City; Tony Hazen and wife Emily of Cedar Falls; grandchildren: Samantha Han, Sydney Han, Rilee Han, Jarrett Carrier, Ashton Carrier, Bryce Carrier and Olivia Carrier; great grandson: Dawson; two sisters, Pat Yetter, Nancee Ovesen and her husband Ron, brother Wayne Strause and his wife Deb. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, one bother Dennis Strause, sister Judi Wagner and her oldest son Michael Ray Han.

No visitation or services will be held.
