Dave & I met Tim and became good friends with him when we were all at MCSA here in Muscatine. Tim got a job at Raymond, and was gone on a daily basis, while Dave worked at trying to get a job, but didn't because they thought he was older than he is. Tim was a really nice man and helped us since we didn't have a vehicle and he had a pickup to help us take many of our possessions to our storage units in Atalissa when we were moving out of the homeless shelter which MCSA was. We really liked Tim, but since we moved out and got an apartment of our own elsewhere, we did not see him as often as we did when we still lived there.
We are both sorry that he died, though it must have been something emergent to have him be at the University of Iowa Health Care. We met his daughter from Muscatine one morning at the Muscatine Family Restaurant last year. He was very proud of his grandchildren, and tried to attend their ball games when he was able to.
We will miss seeing him. He was a nice man and we were proud to say that we knew him, too.
