I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to experience. Please be comforted by the promises in the Bible. Jesus tells us at John 5:28, 29 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. What a loving provision put in place by the God of all comfort so we can have the assured hope of seeing our dead loved ones live again one day. I can't believe I have to say goodbye to you. You were my neighbor growing up on Main Street and later on as grown ups. You were so much fun. Beautiful smile, beautiful eyes and a contagious laugh. So many have lost an amazing friend . . . Shelly will be greatly missed by all that knew her! I met Shelly in kindergarten and was blessed to have her as a close friend for so many years. She always had a big smile and contagious laugh, that put you at ease. Her family was her first priority. Where do I start? Joe you are so lucky to have had such a wonderful wife and mother to Zak, she was a great friend to many. I will always cherish my many years of friendship with Shelly. Even though we didn’t see each other a lot we could always pick up conversation like we did. When we would see each other we would always end up talking about our childhood vacation to Minnesota and all of her mosquito bites, loved laughing with her about the good old days.
The Lord is getting a BEAUTIFUL FLOWER when he gets Shelly. She has plenty of people there to greet her with open arms and my dad LaVerne will be one of them. He always referred to her as “pretty eyes”. Her eyes and smile will forever be a memory to all, not to mention her great personality. I know I will miss running into her at her work place. Every time I think of Kid Rock or hear the songs I will be thinking of her. My heart aches for you all, Love and prayers- Nancy and family
