Jennifer Lynn Mayberry, 33, died suddenly on Monday, February 25, in Dexter, Missouri.
Memorial services in honor of Jenny will be Monday March 4, 2013 at the Henderson Barker Funeral Home in West Branch . Visitation from 11-1 with funeral services immediately following.
Jenny was born May 19, 1979 at Camp Pendelton, California, the daughter of Brian Oxley and the late Terri (Heath) Oxley. She was a graduate of Tipton High School in 1997.
On December 20, 2008 she married Peter Mayberry in West Liberty, IA.
Jenny had a fantastic sense of humor. She was always quick with a joke or a witty comment. Her laugh was contagious and heard often whenever she was around her family and friends. She was an original member of the legendary “Bits & Pieces” bowling team. Something she had a lot of fun participating in. More than anything, Jenny loved her four daughters; they brought her such joy and pride. Her love for them was unconditional.
Jenny is survived by her husband, Pete Mayberry; her father Brian Oxley and his wife Connie Oxley of Wapello, IA; her daughters, Tristan and Hunter Humphrey, and Micah Stine of Tipton, IA and Dakota Mayberry of Dexter MO; her step-son Sheldon Mayberry and her step-daughter Lacee Mayberry both of Wilton, IA; her brother Nicholas (Julia) Oxley of North Liberty, IA; her brother Justin (Nicole) Goddard of Wapello, IA; her sister Tonisha Goddard of Wapello, IA; grandmother Julia Oxley of West Branch, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jenny was preceded in death by her mother, Terri Oxley; her grandparents, Leroy (Red) Heath, Herbert Oxley, Joann “Grandma Mac” McIntire, Earl McIntire; her uncle Michael Heath; her aunt Janella Oxley; and her cousin Kasey Cogdill.
In lieu of flowers the Jenny Oxley Mayberry Memorial Fund has been established through Hills Bank and Trust.
