Iowa City, Iowa James Wesley “Jim” Hunter, 52, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, December 10, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday December 13, 2012 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. James Wesley was born October 2, 1960 in Iowa City, the son of Kenneth and Laurale Fulwider Hunter. He attended special education in Tipton and later the CEO (Cedar County Workshop). For the last 3 ½ years he lived at Reach for Your Potential in Iowa City. He enjoyed spending time with his parents in the summer in Minnesota; riding on the pontoon boat and golf cart, and fishing. He also loved walks with his dad, magazines, music, coffee and diet Pepsi. Survivors include his mother Laurale of West Branch. Two sisters: Melanie (Gary) Christopher and Denise Johnson both of West Branch, and brother: Steve (Robyn) Hunter of West Branch. 8 nieces and nephews: Angie (Josh) Konetzni, Erica Thomas, Lisa (John) Bestenlehner, Kristen (Peter) Gregory, Karen (Jonathan) Daughtrey, Amy (Justin) Hunter, Nick Hunter and Mikayla Hunter. Seven great nieces and nephews also survive. He will be met in Heaven by his father, Kenneth Hunter (September 2012) and great niece Vivian Gregory.
