Joe and I were very fortunate to be able to visit quite a lot with Aunt Arlene when she would come to Texas to visit Dad and Mom. Joe tended to spoil her which she really loved. I thank God for all the time we got to spend with her. I hope she knew how much we loved her. We will miss her terribly.

I have a lot of childhood memories at Arlene's house. She always insisted I call her Grandma, growing up without one myself, that meant a lot. I miss not seeing her on her porch everyday, keeping tabs on Springdale.
