Atalissa, Iowa Kathaleen Ann Yeggy, 64, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at her home in Atalissa. Funeral services will be at 12:00PM on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Visitation will begin 2 hours prior to the service on Saturday. A memorial fund has been established. Kathaleen was born July 16, 1948 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Leonard and Margaret Pallischeck Zybarth. She attended school in Nichols for several years and later graduated from Lone Tree High School in 1966. She was united in marriage to Roy "Jake" Yeggy on December 31, 1967 in West Liberty. Kathaleen was employed with the Muscatine Journal for 11 years and also worked part time at Pearson in Iowa City for 22 years. She enjoyed going to the casino and taking trips with her husband Jake. She was a great sister and loving wife. She is survived by her husband Roy "Jake" Yeggy of Atalissa, Jason Sager of New Orleans,Louisiana; sisters: Barbara Anderson in Clinton, Sandra (David) Enderle of West Liberty and Rose Sager of Solon; sister-in-laws: Betty Gaunt, Mary Sprague, Elizabeth Hollenbeck, Sherry Goodrich and Joan Yeggy; nephews: James Rothert and Nicolas Enderle and niece Jennifer Holstad. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Leo.
