I am so sorry for Mike and Gwen and the other family members' loss of their father/ father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather. He was a nice man and had a great sense of humor that he showed in his day-to-day life at Heath Manor. With my mom, Goldie Hayes, living there, I came into contact with him when I was there visiting or for my overnight stays. I'm sure he will be missed by everyone of his family and hope you all know that you have my thoughts and prayers with you in this time of your greatest need. Again, I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my heart-felt thoughts and sympathy for your loss of your patriarch.

Your father was a wonderful man. He was my first cousin. He was so good to my mother and brother after my father died. I live in SC so I will not be able to attend the funeral. I will keep him in my prayers. He will be missed.
