Porfirio Lopez, 72, died August 4, 2012 at Mercy Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday August 8, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty. Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty was in charge of arrangements.

Porfirio was born In Ignacio Allende Durango, Mexico Sept 15 1939 the son of Antonio and Concepcion Sanchez Lopez. He was a farmer all of his life in Ignacio Allende. He was united in marriage to Guadalupe Gamon Lopez.

Survivors include his wife: Guadalupe Gamon Lopez. One son: Ismael Lopez. Daughters: Teresa Lopez Pineda, Lupita Lopez, Socorro Taylor, Mary Lopez, Rosalinda Lopez, Carmelita Lopez, Grandchildren: Andres Lopez, Julie Pineda, Jessica Lopez, Jorge Lopez, Alvaro Rubio, Rubi Lopez, Nathalia Taylor, Lupita Rubio, Linda Pineda, Ismael Lopez (Junior), Emilie Taylor.
