West Liberty, Iowa Scott Samuel Mullin, 41, died Saturday June 16, 2012 near Moscow, Iowa. A celebration of life will be held 3 P.M. Wednesday June 20, 2012 at the Columbus City Cemetery, Columbus City, Iowa. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12 noon until 2 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. A memorial fund has been established. Scott was born April 22, 1971 in Washington, Iowa the son of Samuel and Elraine Sue Norenberg Mullin. He was a graduate of Wilton High School in 1989. In July of 1995 he was united in marriage to Christine Dunkin in Iowa City. He had worked as a finish carpenter for 20 years; working with Rob McConnell as well as Brad Akers. He loved life and all it had to offer, he had an open heart for all and a kind soul. He was the best father, enjoyed coaching, gardening and would never meet a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Christine of West Liberty and his two children: Scott and Tina. Mother: Sue Wagner of Washington and father: Samuel (Anna) Mullin of Wilton. Brother: Brett Mullin of Milan, Illinois, step brother: Michael Stines of Cedar Rapids, Step sister: Mandy (Chad) Johnson of Moscow. Grandmother: Arlene Norenberg of Washington. Numerous cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather and step grandparents.
