North Liberty, Iowa Jason Harold Alden, 34, died Sunday May 27, 2012 from injuries suffered in a single car automobile accident. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairieburg, Iowa. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Iowa City. Additional visitation will be held from 11 until service time at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Prairieburg. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. A memorial fund has been established. Jason was born July 10, 1977 in Cedar Rapids the son of Mike and Mary Lou Holub Alden. He was a graduate of ED-CO High School in Edgewood. He was been employed with Bachmeier Carpet One. Jason enjoyed fishing, camping, his job and was a loving father. Survivors include his fiancé Destiny Brumbaugh of North Liberty. Mother: Mary Lou (Travis) Coonfare of Dundee, Iowa. Father: Mike Alden of Cedar Rapids. 5 children: Jason Harold Alden Jr., Ella Rae Alden, Olivia Jo Alden, Alice Marija Alden and Serenity Elizabeth. Three Brothers: Adam Alden of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Nick (Bobbie) Ganoe of Central City, Iowa and Cody Kuehl of Edgewood, Iowa. Step brother: Lucas Coonfare of Volga, Iowa. Sister: Katie Alden of Monticello, Iowa. Paternal grandmother: Carol Krumm.
