Byrdetta, I have started this several times and am at a loss for words everytime. I am profoundly sad at the loss of my "Big Sis". Even though we have lost consistant touch these last few years, memories we have shared always make me laugh and yes at times cry every time I turn around. We had been through both good times and bad and she always knew what to say to comfort me, as I hope this does for you. I will have a giant hole in my heart always and forever for losing Mel and not having the chance to talk just one more time. I'm so sorry for your loss Byrdetta, please know that all of your family and friends are there for comfort in this most difficult time.
