West Branch, Iowa Daniel E. Dauber, 52, died Friday, December 27, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Private family services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013. Dan was born November 10, 1961 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Donald Dauber and Patricia Birkett. He graduated from West Branch High School in 1980. He was united in marriage to Laurie Kofoed on August 11, 1984 in West Branch, Iowa. Dan along with Laurie, owned and operated General Pest Control in Iowa City. He was a member of the West Branch United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Laurie of West Branch; daughters: Dana (Nathan) Terry of Fort Mill, South Carolina and Linsie Dauber and grandson Garrett Sotzen of West Branch; his parents: Donald (Helen) Dauber of West Branch and Pat (Jim) Kirby of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his sister Lisa (Tim) Stull of Solon, and nephew Nick (Jen) Stull, niece Jessica (Jesse) Shultz and great nephew Clayton; his brother Ryan (Katie) Dauber of Osage Beach, Missouri and nephews Kolton and Landon Dauber; and his grandmother Edith Birkett of West Branch.
