Danny A. Garvin, 50, of Atalissa died suddenly Saturday November 8, 2008 at Unity Hospital in Muscatine.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. Friday November 14, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church in Atalissa. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Burial will be in the Overman Cemetery, Atalissa.
Danny was born April 6, 1958 in Muscatine the son of Richard and Donna Kelley Garvin. He attended West Liberty Schools. He had been employed with McKee Button Company in Muscatine for 33 years. Dan was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and hunting mushrooms.
He is survived by his sister Lisa Garvin and nephew Ryan of Atalissa. His companion Ruth Lucas of Atalissa. Several Aunts, Uncles and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Rick and grandparents.
