West Liberty, Iowa Karin Marie Lottes-Saravia, 77, died December 21, 2013 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the North English Cemetery. Memorials may be made to WDLM Radio. Karin was born July 21, 1936 in Koblenz, Germany, the daughter of Franz and Elli Treptow Lottes. She was employed as a nurse for much of her life and also worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart in Iowa City for 10 years. Karin was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist faith and attended church in Muscatine. She is survived by 3 daughters: Esther Knockel (David Swenson) of Panama City, Florida, Miriam (Shawn) Ingalls of South English, Iowa, and Julia (Travis) Stolvie of Fairfax, Iowa; 5 grandchildren: Anthony, Charlie, Brooke, Amber and Lexi and a great grandson Cavan. She is also survived by a brother Bodo Lottes and nephew Ralf of Germany. She was preceded in death by a son Andreas Wolfmueller in 2001 and a brother Ghet Lottes.
