West Branch, Iowa Chuck Chacon, 57, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at his home in West Branch. A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00PM on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established. Chuck was born on March 30, 1954, in Greeley, Colorado, the son of Manuel and Charlotte Ramirez Chacon. He was united in marriage to Cyndi Rummells on April 21, 1979 in Denver, Colorado. He was employed with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where he worked as an anesthesia technician. Chuck is survived by his wife Cyndi Chacon of West Branch, daughters Sasha (Phil) Chacon Johnson of Iowa City and Sadie Chacon of Dubuque, siblings Jess (Delores) Chacon, Rosemary (Joe) Lovato, Teresa Chacon, Manuella (Frank) Lovato and Louis Chacon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ralph. Chacon will be greatly missed by his wife, daughters, family and friends.
