Iowa City, Iowa Donald Jay Stucker, age 71 of 2205 J. Street, Iowa City and Atalissa died Monday May 23, 2011 at Windmill Manor Nursing Home in Coralville. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday May 26, 2011 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Overman Cemetery, Atalissa. Donald Jay Stucker was born September 4, 1939 in Centerville, Iowa the son of Hilbert and Mary Adeline McGran Stucker. He was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the class of 1956. He was united in marriage to Ethel Joann Oakes on February 23, 1958, they later divorced. He had been employed at the DX station on I80 West Liberty, owner/operator of a Kerr McGee fuel station for several years and most recently at Sheller Globe in Iowa City until his retirement. He enjoyed NASCAR auto racing, antique cars /hotrods, country music and he recycled iron and aluminum. 3 Daughters: Kimberly Kay Whetstone of North Liberty, Jody Lynn Stucker of Iowa City and Donelle Denise Stucker of North Liberty. 9 grandchildren: Kelly, Tracy, Richard, Ronda, Joe, Mindy, Amy, Kurt and Dustin and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: James Stucker and a great grandson: Treyton.
