Patsy was the person I missed the most not seeing at the class reunions. We started to kindergarten together and enjoyed sleep-overs at each other's farm homes. Alma made the best hot dogs!!
Tom and I just got home yesterday from a month's travels and today I found out when checking my e-mail about Pat's death. What a beautiful 67 year old she was. I will always remember her and our school years.

I must admit that I didn't know Pat very well, but I had arguably the next best thing -- the opportunity of working with two of her grandchildren, McKensey and Chantz, both extremely bright, kind, and promising young people. I was so terribly sad when I found out Pat had passed away. Another piece of my past has now passed away. She was such an awesome woman to me and my family when we would come visit. Living so far away, here in California, has not afforded us the opportunities to remain close, even though we are family. Upon losing my mother almost two years ago, I know the pain you all are going through. Time heals and the memories will flood back on those occasions when you need them most. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
