Delores “Dee Dee” Sivia, 72 formerly of Atalissa and Wilton died Monday April 18, 2011 at Trinity Hospital in Muscatine.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Committal services will be held 10:00 am Thursday at the Klein Cemetery, rural Moscow. Dee Dee was born June 16, 1938 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Harlan and June Sisk Phillips. On October 18, 1956 she was united in marriage to Ernest Sivia, they later divorced in 1997. She had been employed in housekeeping at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. She enjoyed playing BINGO, cards and dancing.
Survivors include one son: Ernest (Debora) Sivia Jr. of Letts. 4 Daughters: Terry (David) Evans of Tipton, April (Richard) Humphries of Blanket, Texas, Tracy (Tracy Blaesing) Meade of Muscatine and Robin (John) Durian of Coralville. 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Brother: David (Pat) Phillips of West Liberty and sister Scherry (Craig) Haines of Davenport. She is also survived by a special friend Patty Peterson of Wilton. Preceding her in death were her parents, a grandson Matthew O’Donnell and husband Ernest.
