West Branch, Iowa Michelle Lee Ann Thompson, 39, of Tiffin, formerly of West Branch, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at her home in Tiffin with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00PM on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 9:30AM on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for Michelle’s boys. Michelle was born September 29, 1971 in Muscatine, the daughter of Joyce Machlan Schmidt and Leo F. Cromer. She graduated from West Liberty High School in 1990. Michelle was an amazing mother and was loved by all. She is survived by her fiancée Donnie Stecher Jr. and his 3 children Colton, Alissa, and Einar of Tiffin, mother Joyce Schmidt of Wilton, father Leo F. Cromer and wife Sandy of Florida, adopted father G. David Schmidt of West Liberty, 3 sons Jordan, Tanner and Sidney Thompson of West Branch, sister Davina S. Urmie and fiancée Jake Holladay and daughters Vivian and Jossyln of Wilton, brother Nathan D. Schmidt and wife Kim and children Brady, Cassie and Gavin of Mingo. She is also survived by her special cousins, Brian Machlan and wife Lora and son Jack, and Sara Burroughs and husband Charlie and daughters Ashlie and Amanda.
