West Branch, Iowa Ronald G. Waters, 57 of Glenwood, Iowa and formerly of West Branch died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Jennie-Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be held Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Burial will be in the Downey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Camp Courageous. Ron was born August 8, 1950 in Iowa City the son of Leslie and Lucille Wilcox Waters. He had lived with his parents until the age of 25, moving to the Glenwood Resource Center in Glenwood, Iowa in 1975. He is survived by 5 brothers: Gerald (Darlene) Waters of Clarence, Charles (Corrine) Waters of North Liberty, Raymond (Carol) Waters of Columbus, Ohio, Kenneth (Debra) Waters of Iowa City and his twin brother Donald (Heidi) Waters of Des Moines. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews.
