West Liberty, Iowa Nancy Sue Wright, 66, of rural West Liberty, died on April 12, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 12, 1941 in Davenport, Iowa. She grew up in West Branch, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Pauline Charlotte Wensorra (Heick) and Robert E. Wensorra. She graduated in 1959 from Washington High School in Cedar Rapids. Nancy was employed by James Jewelers, Cramer's Department Store, Tweety's Self Serve Grocery Store (where she met her future husband, Richard), Hawkeye Dairy, and she retired from the University of Iowa after 19 years of service. Nancy married Richard A. Wright on January 18, 1964 in Iowa City. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, and parents. Surviors include her three children: Rebecca (Jeffrey) Wright-Sedam of Greenwich, NY, Jeffrey (Joy) Wright, of West Liberty, and Dan (Karen) Wright of West Liberty and grandchildren: Jay and Warren Wright-Sedam of Greenwich, NY and Brittney of Los Angeles, Zachary and Logan Wright of West Liberty. She is also survived by three sisters: Shirley Ackerman of Iowa City, Joan Pallet of North Liberty, and Kathy (LeRoy) Scott of Hill City, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be directed to the Iowa City Hospice. Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 17 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tipton. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, April 16 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. A luncheon will be provided at the church following graveside services in Springdale, Iowa.
