West Liberty, Iowa Marjorie G. Rosenfield, 92, died Wednesday July 2, 2008 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday July 7, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 6 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. Marjorie was born April 14, 1916 in Wellman, Iowa the daughter of Martin and Nellie Searle McMahon. She was a graduate of Lone Tree High School. On September 16, 1941 she was united in marriage to Edward Smid in Lone Tree, he died November 5, 1962. She later married DeWayne "Doc" Rosenfield on July 22, 1978, he died November 2, 1979. She had lived most of her life in Lone Tree, working at the Lone Tree Elevator, Eclipse Lumber Co. and for 32 years at Farmers and Merchants Bank retiring in 1978 and moving to West Liberty. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a charter member of the Lone Tree American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling and eating out. Survivors include one son: James (Vista) Smid of West Liberty. Three Grandchildren: Sondra (Mark) Warson of Madrid, Iowa, Andrew (Tiffany) Smid of Ocoee, Florida and Cindy (Yu) Smid Togawa of Clarksville, Tenn. Three great grandchildren: Cassidy, Chaz and Clayton Warson as well as a great grandchild to be born in November. A s pecial family friend Lisa Lorack of Lone Tree. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husbands: Edward and DeWayne, great granddaughter: Amy Jo Warson, 2 Sisters: Maxine Skubal and Helen Swailes, and a brother: James McMahon.
