West Liberty, Iowa Luz Hernandez-Espinoza, 64, died Monday April 14, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness. Funeral mass will be held 6 P.M. Wednesday April 16, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Luz was born June 10, 1943 in Jerez, Zacatecas Mexico the daughter of Jose Manuel and Carmen de Santiago Hernandez. She had been employed with West Liberty Foods in West Liberty. Survivors include her husband Raul Espinoza of West Liberty. One son: Rene Espinoza of West Liberty and two grandchildren Chris and Raul. Her mother: Carmen of Long Beach California. Two sisters: Concepcion Hernandez of San Jose, California and Ester Hernandez of Long Beach, California. One brother: Salvador Hernandez of Ontario, California.
