Wellman, Iowa Julia Ann Weeks, 18, was taken from us and placed in the hands of God, March 20, 2008 near Wellman, following a car accident. Services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00PM on Monday, March 24, 2008 at the Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established in Julia's name. Julia was born on August 14, 1989 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Mark Thorndyke and Shelli Weeks. Julia was a bright, beautiful, and bubbly person. She liked the color pink, roses, loud music and dogs, especially her pit bull Gypsy. She loved spending time with her friends and family. Julia was a devoted mother to her son Sedric and was dedicated to fulfilling his happiness. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son: Sedric Zaerith Martin Lamb, her mother: Shelli and husband Chevo Limas of Wellman, her father: Mark Thorndyke and wife Tamara of Muscatine, her brothers and sisters: Zachary Beesley of West Liberty, Marissa Weeks of Wellman, and Cory Nelson, Cody Nelson, and Clarissa Hoppe, all of Muscatine. She is also survived by her grandparents: Randy and Dru Neubauer of West Liberty, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
