Becky just sent us a quick e-mail to tell us about Jean. Our thoughts are with you all as you go through this difficult time. We always appreciated reading the letters from Jean and catching up with your family news.
Of course, David doesn't know you, but he was in school with Jim Barnhill.
I remember when you moved away from University Park; it ws a very sad day. We had so much fun as kids playing in your tree house and in the "biggest snow fort ever." I have figured out that it was probably 1971 when I last saw Larry (do you remember you, Barb Street, and me going down memory lane?), and I think it was 2003 when we took Mom to see Jean on our way to David's sister's in Washington, Iowa. I remember when we came back to pick up Mom, Jean said, "But we're not done talking yet."
Please know that we're thinking of you. Keep in touch if you can!
Best regards,
Jeanne and David Patterson and Margaret Adolphs
